Cubase 5 - New Features

9. Tempo and Time Signature tracks –
giving full control directly in the Project Window

Two new track types have been added to Cubase 5: Tempo Track and Signature Track. Editing tempo and signature information can now be edited in project context (available in both time linear and bars+beats linear modes). In addition, both tempo and signature editing has been improved. Tempo and Signature Tracks work perfectly in combination with the "divide track list" function.

  • New track type: Tempo Track
  • New track type: Signature Track
  • Editing from info line and track inspector
  • Direct access to advanced functions (process tempo, process bars)
  • Edit multiple selected events, including drag & drop
  • Snap/Grid/Quantize dependent editing
  • Crosshair-cursor support
