To develop an understanding of a range of advanced modern studio production techniques

Description:

This project contains a series of practical activities related to a selection of advanced studio techniques used in the production of modern music. Many of the most commonly used strategies are contained within this project and should equip students with an effective foundation of ‘realworld’ skills with which they can create and produce high quality music. Students will work with an original multitrack recording of a song called ‘Nobody Jones, and through guided tasks will be introduced to using some of the more advanced production processes which aurally shape recorded sound.
