Aim:

To develop a range of composing skills relating to texture, melody, harmony and structure

Description:

This project contains a series of practical exercises introducing students to different approaches to composing. Working primarily through a MIDI environment, students will develop composing and performing skills, develop their understanding of notation and musical theory and acquire a range of skills in preparation for larger, independent composition tasks.
