To develop and understanding of the musical devices used within the creation and performance of Latin American music

Description:

This project contains a series of practical activities related to working with Latin American Samba rhythms. Students will work with audio, MIDI and VSTi’s to create an original piece of samba music containing loops, samples and recordings of a live performance. A piece of Latin-Pop called ‘Feel the Heat’ is used within this project along with a series of specially recorded audio loops.
